Personal Training Specializing in Beginner Weightlifters from LGBTQ+ and BIPOC Communities
If you’re new to weightlifting and have ever felt nervous or intimidated at the gym because you’re not a cis-het white man, you’re definitely not alone.
I specialize in teaching beginner weightlifters - especially LGBTQ+ community members and, BIPOC folks - how to master foundational techniques and build strength with confidence in a supportive environment.

About coach Chase
My name is Chase Mancia and I started lifting weights as a teenager, quickly focusing on growing my glutes and trying to have the “perfect” body. From there, I fell in love with lifting heavy-ass weights, and trained to compete in Oregons first Strongman Competition. After placing second in the women’s division, I continued to lift heavy and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
I’ve been a personal trainer for over four years and have worked with hundreds of clients, learning how to make even the least experienced lifters feel comfortable and confident with weights. My passion comes from the empowerment I felt as a teenager when I first discovered weightlifting—and I’m dedicated to helping others experience that same confidence and strength.

Next, we do a sample workout that also acts as a movement assessment, before we end by looking at the training packages.
